At Berriost Play (iptv.berriost.dev), we respect your privacy. Our core application does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) to use the service.
To improve your user experience and enable offline capabilities, we store preferences and user-imported content strictly on your device using localStorage and IndexedDB:
This content remains strictly client-side on your device and is never uploaded or transferred to our servers.
To conveniently present your local channels upon initial launch, the application performs a client-side lookup via public geolocation services (such as ip.guide). This request is made directly from your browser to infer your approximate country code. We do not store or track your geographic coordinates.
When streaming third-party channels, your browser connects directly to the broadcaster's streaming servers, which operate under their respective privacy policies.
We use privacy-friendly Vercel Analytics to measure general traffic metrics (such as page views, visitor countries, and device types). Vercel Analytics does not track users across the web, does not use persistent advertising cookies, and complies with modern privacy regulations.
